The journey to be a quintessential NRI is long and arduous, though the aspiration of being one is Frivolous. As they say “you can take a DESI to PARDES, But the DESI shall remain as is” :-p
This blog is my journey to a land of possibilities. The possibility of a better future with the longing of the past. As I try to understand the land I do not belong to and yet try to firmly hold on to what is truly mine.
My aim is to create a reference guide/journal for all those who aspire to hold on to their culture and Indian-ness while navigating their way through the world. To hold on to a piece of their identity while constantly changing and adapting to new culture and rhythms.
In my attempt I truly hope I am able to REPRESENT.
